Sprinkle grounds to bring out the blooms. Save coffee grounds to sprinkle around your flowers. The extra nitrogen in coffee gives a nutritional boost to the plants, encouraging a flourish of flowers. Coffee grounds can raise the soil’s acidity, which is a good thing for many plants in our soil. If the plant is a non-acid loving plant, try rinsing the grounds first before applying. You can also try composted manure if coffee is not your thing.
